Law enforcement responded to a double shooting incident early Tuesday morning in the Weldon Avenue area, adjacent to The Plaza shopping district in east Charlotte. According to WCNC Charlotte, officers arrived at the scene around 2 a.m. to find two shooting victims. One victim was pronounced deceased at the scene, while the second victim sustained injuries.
