Duke Energy and SHARE Charlotte are joining forces once again for their Shop for Good campaign, an annual effort designed to address back-to-school supply needs across the Charlotte region. The initiative leverages Amazon wish lists curated by more than 30 local nonprofit organizations, allowing community members and businesses to directly support causes aligned with their values while meeting critical educational needs.

The program casts a wide net across Charlotte's nonprofit ecosystem, with participating organizations focused on family services, student support, enrichment programming, and teacher resources. By partnering with established nonprofits rather than distributing supplies directly, Duke Energy and SHARE Charlotte are amplifying the reach and effectiveness of established community institutions already trusted by the families they serve.

For Charlotte-area businesses and professionals looking to give back during the back-to-school season, the Shop for Good campaign offers a streamlined way to make an impact. The Amazon wish list model removes logistics barriers and allows donors to contribute remotely, making participation accessible for busy professionals and companies managing their own community investment portfolios during this critical time for local students and educators.
